HEALTH + SAFETY POLICY

As we navigate these ever-changing times, it is our priority to ensure that the practice continues to be safe + accessible to all. Please see below for all of the updates on how we are currently operating.

September 7, 2021

  • By order of the Provincial Health Officer, starting September 13, 2021, we will be required to verify your vaccination status before you enter the studio. Please be prepared for this before your visit, and be kind to our staff who are simply following the government mandate. Information on vaccination requirements, relevant dates and how to prepare your proof of immunization can be found here

  • Please keep your mask on at all times while in the studio, except when you are on your mat.

  • Practice physical distancing and stay a lions length apart whenever possible.

  • We encourage you to bring your own mat and any props that support your practice. A variety of mats and props are available for purchase at the studio if you do not have your own, and a limited number of wooden blocks and rental mats will be available during each class.

  • Credit/Debit transactions are preferred, but cash will still be accepted on a limited basis in the form of donations. (Please note: no change will be available if you choose to make a cash donation). We encourage you to add card details to your Mindbody account for ease, please speak with our front desk team if you need any support with this.

  • We encourage students to pre-register for classes through Mindbody as class sizes are limited to allow for physical distancing.

  • Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes before class. Spots will be given away to standby walk-in students starting 5 minutes before class.

  • You may cancel your registration up to 8 hours before an in-person class. No-shows and late-cancellations less than 8 hours before class will result in the class being deducted from your account. You will continue to be able to cancel registration up to 1 hour before virtual classes.

  • Our cleaning procedures are in line with the latest WorkSafe BC guidelines, and we will continue to disinfect the studio and common touchpoints frequently.

  • If you are feeling unwell or exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 please stay at home and join us in person when you are feeling better.

  • We understand if you aren’t able or don’t feel comfortable coming back and practicing in person just yet. We will be honoring all previous passes purchased, and memberships will remain paused until you request that we reactivate your pass. Please send us a note below to request your account be reactivated.

The safety of our team and community is our top priority. If any individual is found to be non-compliant with our COVID-19 Health and Safety policies, a staff member will provide a gentle reminder about the relevant requirements. If unwilling to comply (except in cases of exemption under the current provincial health order), the individual will be asked to leave the premises and return only when they are willing to abide by our policies.

With love and gratitude,

The One Yoga For The People Family
